5 ESSENTIAL OILS YOU MAY WANT TO ADD TO YOUR SKINCARE ROUTINE(OR NOT!)

Hi, guys!
Everyone has that oil, the one they reach out for on a daily basis.

This post is a list of 5 essential oils you should have and why you should have any or all of them…lol.

*FYI: Posts on the blog may not be as regular as they used to. I’m currently in a stressful posting. I’ll keep trying my best to keep it going. I promise!

1. Argan oil

This is my “faithful” oil. It plumps my skin so well. I use the one from Organiclifeplus which I reviewed here. It helps with anti-aging, reducing fine lines and deep moisturizing, making it a great option for dry to combination skin. I especially love using it after The Ordinary AHA + BHA Peeling Solution.

2. Lemongrass oil

This is one hell of a multipurpose oil. It has astringent and antiseptic properties. It cleanses and brightens the skin, and reduces pores. It also helps to strengthen hair follicles and thicken your hair. I reviewed the R and R Luxury one in this post.

3. Rosehip seed oil(or rosehip oil)

This oil has gained a lot of popularity in recent times. It contains antioxidants and fatty acids which help in skin regeneration. In other words, it’s great for scars, fine lines, aging skin and hyperpigmentation. I recently got this one from Ajali Naturals. I’ll review it soonest! You can also get The Ordinary Rosehip oil from Beauty Frenzy.

4. Coconut oil

Yes, the king of moisturizers. It’s great for skin, hair, you name it.

However, it is comedogenic(clogs pores). Acne- prone skin, BEWARE!

5. Tea tree oil

This oil is great for both oily and acne prone skin(not just prevent but also treat acne). It has been proven to be just as effective as benzoyl peroxide in some cases of acne. It also helps with eczema and fungal infections. In some concentrations, it can cause skin reactions. Therefore, it is not the best choice for sensitive skin.

It’s a wrap, guys! What is your go-to oil? Why do you love it so? Leave a comment below…let’s oil up!!!*lol*
