2017 FAVES!!

Hi guys!

We are in the last few days of the year and it occurred to me that I hadn’t done a favourites post. Like what beauty blogger hasn’t done a 2017 favourites post?

In this post I’ll be sharing products(both skincare and makeup) that have been loyal as hell this year. Let’s dig in!

1. The Ordinary 30% AHA + 2% BHA Peeling Solution

I cannot rave enough about this product. The way my skin feels after I’ve used it is amazing. I have never regretted buying it. I reviewed it fully here if you’re interested.

2. Clinique SPF 40 Body creamThis has been my saviour against the sun. One of my best buys this year. It sinks into the skin so nicely and doesn’t leave a cast. It is also a great moisturizer.

3. Ajali Rosehip Oil

This oil has really helped with hyperpigmentation. It is super lightweight and I like it a lot.

4. Revlon Colorstay Foundation

My ride or die foundation. If you follow me on any social media platform(Instagram, Twitter or Snapchat-@ifedayobalo12), you know how much I love this foundation. I wear this in the Shade Caramel but I mix it with Maybelline Fit Me in 338 when I’m darker(this foundation concoction is low key BOMBTT).

5. Smashbox Photofinish Primer in Light

This primer! It is not as mattifying as the Boots No7 Primer but it holds well against oil. If your face is not a greaseball, it would work well for you.

6. Nuban Beauty Pro Blending Sponge

This is the best beauty blender I’ve used. It’s soft and blends product out so well. That’s all.

7. Real Techniques Buffing brush

I really love this brush. It is my go to for Blending out foundation. It creates the balance between sheer and NikkieTutorials coverage.

8. Milani Tantastic Bronzer

If you want see your hater’s reflection in your cheekbone, wet your brush and apply this. It is that pigmented.

9. Colourpop Liquid Lipstick In Kae

My everyday guy. It’s either this or lipgloss. Lovely nude shade for darker skin tones.

  1. i too loved the revlon colourstay foundation it really is lovely, however i am currently on Loreal true match in c9…now this is actually a cool shade with quite a bit of red in it but i try to balance it out with a warmer highlight so it works for me. Also on my fav list is the colourpop brow pencil in bangin brunette…i went thru 2 of these. Never went back to MAC’s brow pencil since. It is a go to for the days i want a natural brow without it being too dark. For concealer i am currently loving LA girls shades in toast, toffee and mahogany to spot conceal, highlight and contour with. Their colour correctors are great too! The most inexpensive brand concealer i have used to date.

    1. Loreal True Match is a good foundation, it’s however not mattifying enough for me. The Colourpop brow pencils are pretty bomb..
I think everyone in the world loves la girl concealers. They are so awesome.
Thanks for stopping by, Love! I saw you on the Snap btw…😘

      1. Oh, I’m trying to find a combo of products that make it last longer for me cuz my oils are no joke. Yes I finally got you added lol

      2. Yeah I see great reviews for Boots no 7. I own the becca excellent primer but this Caribbean heat got me all the way oily. I’m using calamine lotion for reinforcement it works pretty ok with the Becca

  2. Currently loving the ordinary acid peel too. Haven’t used it for too long to be a fav. Looking forward to trying the Ajali rose hip oil
    Great post 🖤

  3. got my eyes on the alkali rosehip oil. my fave remains classic lipsticks. they are well pigmented and cheap of course……… I will really appreciate foundation recommendation for acne prone face. I have tried quite a lot, but I keep breaking out after sometime, so my go to is marykay timewise foundation.

    1. The rosehip oil is great…The Classic lipsticks are really nice; I’ve tried them out too. Regarding foundation, please send me a message on any of my social media platforms. I’ll reply.
      Thanks for stopping by dear!❤️
