Happy New Year, guys!!
I thought this product review is deserving of the first post of the year(Whatcha think?)..I know it’s super late, but better late than never, right?
In this post, I’ll be reviewing the most popular foundation of 2017, the Fenty Beauty Pro Matte foundation.
I got a tester of this foundation in a giveaway I won by Beauty Frenzy in the Shade 410, which is my shade.
Product Description
A soft matte, longwear foundation with buildable, medium to full coverage, in a boundary-breaking range of 40 shades.
Finally — the ultimate photo filter in foundation form. Born in 40 boundary-breaking shades, Pro Filt’r Soft Matte Longwear Foundation gives skin an instantly smooth, pore-diffused, shine-free finish that easily builds to medium to full coverage. The oil-free formula is made with climate-adaptive technology that’s resistant to sweat and humidity, and won’t clog pores so that wherever you are, it’s going to work on your skin. Best of all, this longwearing, light-as-air texture is undetectable on skin — so you always look like you.
Review
This foundation comes in a pretty glass bottle, but I’m not a fan of the white cap(amean, it’s makeup).
It comes with a pump which is great. I didn’t notice a scent on opening it. The foundation itself has a nice consistency, it’s a perfect balance between runny and thick. It also applies well and is easy to blend in. I like to apply it with my Real techniques expert face brush.
This foundation has a medium but buildable coverage. I have some hyperpigmentation on my left cheek, and a second coat of this baby covered this up.
It has a lovely matte but skin like finish and controls oil well(if your face is very oily, you’ll need your mattifying primer).
What I love about this foundation is that it does not SETTLE INTO FINE LINES.
The shade range is also superb and super impressive(you already know this…)
(Comparing Fenty Beauty foundation in 410 to other foundations I own)
Verdict
I’m so happy it wasn’t an overhyped product. It has a lovely finish and looks good throughout the day. Definitely a bomb product worth the money!

Great review! The foundation has such a lovely finish but my nearest Harvey Nicks (UK) branch is in Knightsbridge 😩 I’m too lazy to go there.
