REVIEW: MAKEUP REVOLUTION SHIMMER BRICK IN ROSE GOLD

Hi guys!

I hope you’re all doing well. In today’s post I’ll be reviewing the Makeup Revolution Shimmer Brick in Rose Gold.

Description

Combining the warmth from a bronzer with highlighters to give gorgeous definition to all skin tones. Either use each shade from the shimmer brick on its own, or swirl your brush round to pick up all the colours.

Review

This highlighter comes in a simple plastic packaging. Nothing extraordinary. It is small enough to fit into your purse and is suitable for travel.

It has 5 shades of highlighters arranged in a brick pattern. You can use each of them individually or mix them together, depending on the effect you want.

This highlighter also doubles as an eyeshadow which is excellent in my opinion.

These highlighters have really good pigmentation. They are not most finely milled ones though. You may need to wet your brush to get them to blend in seamlessly instead of sitting on top of the skin.

These highlighters can give a versatile or blinding highlight depending on the shade you use.

As eyeshadows, they have stunning pigment and look absolutely lovely.

Here’s a video where I use it in creating a look:

Verdict

I think this shimmer brick is a great deal, especially for the price. It’s a versatile one, as you can use it as either an eyeshadow or a highlighter.

What’s not to love?
