I love foundation….skin makeup in general!! I’m always looking for the next best skin finish.
Many of the foundations I use tend towards medium coverage so I was eager to try something different.
Keep reading to see what I think about this foundation in terms of coverage, shade range and much more.
Customize your coverage like a pro with our Total Control Drop Foundation! Now available in six more shades to accommodate an even wider range of skin tones, this fan-favorite foundation provides sheer-to-full coverage and a soft matte finish. Use the included glass dropper to fine-tune this velvety-matte formula to your heart’s desire. For beautiful application, prep your face with our new Total Control Drop Primer.
This foundation comes with the “Instagram-savvy” dropper and a 13 ml bottle. The dropper packaging is fancy, though I like my pumps, thank you. A good quantity poured the day after I got it because I forgot to cover it after use(pumps dont spill like that).
The consistency of the foundation is very liquid, to say the least.
Upon application, the coverage is super buildable and can be titrated to your preference. I find that 6 drops gives me full coverage. It feels very lightweight and gives a nice finish on the skin. It is not a mattifying foundation and does not control oil(dry to normal skinned people will love this!)
The shade range is pretty decent, with 30 shades to choose from. My shade is Cappucino, which runs slightly redder than my skin tone and ends up darker once it sets/oxidizes. I love it when mixed with my Revlon Colorstay foundation.
I don’t like this foundation because it transfers a lot and can stain your clothing so much. I also think $14 for a 13ml foundation(which is less than half the volume of a normal foundation) is not drugstore price. That’s about $30 for a full bottle.
I like the consistency and coverage of this foundation. Normal to dry skinned folks will absolutely love it.
I wish it was transfer-free and less expensive though.
