Today’s post is a review of the cleanser I’ve been using of late, the Garnier Purifying Botanical Gel wash with green tea leaves for combination to oily skin.

Product Description

A gel daily face wash made with 96% ingredients of natural origin, enriched with Green Tea extract, known for its purifying powers. It efficiently removes excess sebum, impurities and pollution for perfectly clean and purified looking skin.

How to use it? Apply once a day to wet skin and massage your face gently. Rinse off.

This gel wash comes in a plastic bottle with a pump, which dispenses product effectively.

The product is transparent with a tinge of green in it. It also has a thick gel consistency and a fresh scent when applied.

The consistency is too thick to apply to dry skin but applies comfortably over wet skin. It creates a nice lather upon contact with water.

I use it as my only cleanser after wipes and it does a good job of cleansing my face. My face felt and looked dry but not tight after rinsing it off.

Another thing I like about this cleanser is that it contains green tea which helps with oil control and soothes the skin. It is also paraben and silicon-free with 96% of its ingredients being of natural origin(all of which I think is fantastic).

I still prefer the La Roche Posay cleanser to this one though, especially for controlling sebum.

I like this cleanser as a staple. It is an affordable, effective cleanser for combination to oily skin and gets the job done. I’ll be repurchasing this baby when this one runs out.
