Hi, lovelies!! I hope you are all doing well.
Today’s post is a review of the Queen Helene Grapeseed Mask which I have been using of late.
This is one of those “YouTube made me buy it” kind of products(to be specific, Dimma Umeh made me buy it). Keep reading to find out my thoughts about this mask.
This skin-purifying masque forms a peel-able film which, when removed, lifts impurities from clogged pores while Grape Seed Extract brightens and evens your complexion tone. After use, skin feels deeply clean with a revitalized look.
This mask comes in a tube packaging containing 6 oz of product.
The mask itself is transparent with a hint of purple and has a thick consistency.
I use this mask once a week, after cleansing my face and before toning. Upon applying the mask(after cleansing my skin), it feels gel- like and spreads over the skin. It doesn’t feel super tight or drying after application.
It dries to a clear film on the skin after some minutes after which I peel off the mask. My face looks clear and feels firm, after using this mask. My fine lines are also smoother and the pores around my nose were smaller afterwards.
However, I did not like how it peels off. It peeled unevenly and I got bits stuck to my face here and there. The instructions actually includes rinsing it off(which makes my skincare routine cumbersome).
I am not a fan of peel-off masks, to be honest.
This mask actually makes the skin look brighter and firmer, which I like.
If you like peel-off masks, you’d like it. I wouldn’t be repurchasing it because I really prefer sheet masks and there are other masks that can tighten and clear my skin like this does.
Where I bought mine: Mama Tega’s Supermarket, Yaba
Have you tried out this mask? How do you feel about it? What are your favourite masks? I’ve being a K-beauty one recently and I love it!
